OVERVIEW
Co-taught with Charles Waldheim. Bioremediation and onsite technical& Phytotechnical landscape infrastructure site-strategies. Just south of Chicago, Illinois this 105-acre steel slag-site called South Works specialized for 100-years in integrated steel works in Chicago’s architecture and civil-engineering history. The slags fields are the untold story of the other side of steel, steel that for 100-years went into the construction of Chicago’s rail lines, city skyscrapers, bridges.
