OVERVIEW
In this core studio, students develop a spatial understanding of landscape architecture through a series of exercises of varying scale and complexity. Building design skills incrementally, students will acquire facility with the manipulation of ground plane and the elaboration of vegetation and material strategies at both site and urban scales. The studio will foster an appreciation of landscape architecture as a systemic construct with formal, ecological and social implications.
